Built on Experience, Driven by Compassion
With over 20–30 years of experience serving the community of Lake County in Indiana as a physical therapist, Sunlite Adult Day Care was founded from a deep passion for giving back and supporting families in need. Our background in home health, rehabilitation, nursing homes, and assisted living has given us a strong understanding of the needs of both older and younger adults, as well as the challenges their families face.
We support not only older adults but also younger adults with memory challenges, individuals who cannot safely be left alone at home, and those experiencing a decline in mobility or motivation. Without the right support, these challenges can lead to falls, hospitalization, and loss of independence.
At Sunlite, we provide a safe, compassionate, and engaging environment where participants can enjoy meaningful activities, social connection, and attentive care while families gain peace of mind knowing their loved ones are supported.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide compassionate respite care that strengthens family relationships, gives caregivers peace of mind, and offers clients a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.
We are committed to enhancing each client’s functional mobility and supporting independence for as long as possible. Through meaningful active socialization, structured activities, and a happy, enjoyable atmosphere, we promote safety, help prevent falls, and improve overall quality of life.
Our Facility
At Sunlite Adult Day Care, we’ve created a warm, welcoming, and comfortable environment where adults can feel safe, engaged, and cared for throughout the day. Our facility is thoughtfully designed to support social interaction, wellness, independence, and peace of mind for both participants and their families.
From spacious activity areas and comfortable seating to clean dining spaces and relaxing common areas, every part of our center is focused on providing a positive and uplifting experience. We strive to create an atmosphere that feels less like a facility and more like a second home.
